Oat Hill Mine Trail

As you might suspect, Variable linanthus (Leptosiphon parviflorus) flowers are quite variable in appearance. The cluster of flowers may be nearly any color, often shades of yellow, pink, or white. The petals may or may not have purplish markings at the base of each lobe. The stem may be 1 to 8" high. The reproductive structures vary depending on maturity. The linear leaves, however, are always in a round cluster, divided into several lobes. Phlox Family.
