Costa Rica
The Fish Tail Palm looks exactly as one would expect. There are many types of palm trees in the jungles. One is the Walking Palm that perches atop tall roots that can move the tree to a slightly better location to get more sunlight. There is a Window Palm that has small holes in each frond near the stem. The majestic King Palm lines lowland rivers. Plants and animals (especially insects!) thrive in Costa Rica. In fact 5% of all species known to exist live in Costa Rica.
