Doorways at Bayon
The Bayon (Magic Box) is a massive group of face towers surrounded by two galleries with vaulted roofs, some of which are missing. The walls are covered with bas-reliefs that show battle scenes and everyday life; unlike those at Angkor Wat that depict religious stories. Many of the small shrines inside the Baphuon are maintained by mystics who light incense, pray and tell the future.
