Star-flowered Solomon Seal has narrower leaves than its relative Fat Solomon's Seal. Both are also called False Solomon's Seal. It is an ever-changing native plant. It has little white buds in early spring, followed by delicate starry flowers. In the fall the berries are striped at first, then they turn deep red. (Its old name was Smilacina ramosa.) Formerly in the Lily Family, now in the Asparagus Family.
