Bohemia Ecological Preserve

The Bearded Jewelflower is a rare species of mustard that prefers to grow in harsh serpentine soils. Unlike some other Jewelflowers the blossoms do not all grow on one side of the tall stalk. The urn-shaped flowers have whitish or purple-tinged petals. Most of the leaves grow near the base of the stem.
